The George Washington Carver Center members support the community. We serve holiday luncheons for seniors. Our one-on-one tutoring program as well as free grade level snow day/vacation packets for school age children supports education of our youth. We showcase talent of local authors and artists. We are especially proud of our efforts to maintain the history of the Shake Rag community with our collections of it history and memorabilia as well as community history events.
